Healthy Coupleship and the Survivor of Trauma
This interactive workshop will focus on the relational dynamics in couples where symptomology secondary to trauma is present in one or both members. Areas to be explored include the adaptations of the coupleship to maintain stasis, reenactments in the relationship, and skill building. We will also discuss triangulation, communication, problem-solving and healthy models of intimacy.

Bio:
John F. Crowe, CRC, LMHC, is a certified rehabilitation counselor, licensed mental health counselor and board certified sexual abuse therapist with more than 28 years of experience providing services to individuals who have experienced trauma in their lives. His particular specialization is in working with male survivors of sexual abuse and people diagnosed with PTSD with histories of addiction. John is presently in private clinical practice in Albany, New York and is a popular speaker who has presented on trauma informed treatment at conferences throughout the United States and Canada.
